We are seeking a skilled Administrative Officer to provide support for our housing operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing administrative assistance to the housing team, including managing paperwork and compiling reports
  2. Processing housing benefit and welfare benefit applications in accordance with legislation and policies
  3. Liaising with landlords and temporary accommodation providers to secure housing for clients

The ideal candidate will have experience in an administrative role, preferably in the housing sector, and excellent knowledge of housing and homelessness legislation, welfare benefits, and local authority practices.

This role is deemed customer facing and requires a command of spoken English sufficient to enable effective performance. The post holder will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Estimated salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
