About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Lindsay House, a 17-bed supported living service registered under CQC. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with a primary mental health diagnosis to regain their confidence and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to service users to help them achieve their personal goals and access necessary resources.
  • Work closely with service users to develop and implement personalized support plans, promoting their autonomy and well-being.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for service users.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.
Requirements
  • Transferable life/work experience, with a strong understanding of mental health principles and practices.
  • Excellent listening and empathy skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and colleagues.
  • Alignment with the values of Rethink Mental Illness, including hope, understanding, expertise, equity, commitment, passion, and openness.
