About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our team in the Low Secure, Specialist Rehabilitation and CAMHS Division at St Andrew's Healthcare. As a Social Worker, you will have the opportunity to gain experience across all our specialisms, develop a deeper understanding of complex mental health needs, and work in partnership with our multi-disciplinary teams to provide holistic individualised treatment plans.

Main Responsibilities

As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for working directly with patients on their recovery journey, taking the lead with carer engagement and involvement, and ensuring that families are part of the team. You will also become an expert in mental health legislation and practice, giving evidence at Tribunals and taking the lead on safeguarding.

We work in partnership with a number of NHS, voluntary, educational and research organisations to deliver a range of specialist inpatient and community mental healthcare services, education and research that helps to improve the lives of people with complex mental health needs.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Social Worker with a recognised Social Work Qualification and ideally experience of working in Mental Health and Mental Capacity Legislation. You will also need to be registered with Social Work England and have opportunities for training to ensure registration.
