Nurse - Acute Mental Health

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated RMN or RNLD Nurse to work in a leading hospital service based in the Birmingham area.
This hospital provides fast access to expert treatment for a range of mental health difficulties, including addictions, depression, anxiety, and stress.
To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as an RMN or RNLD Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
As a Nurse, your key duties will include:
- Undertaking and managing direct patient care
- Participating fully in the assessment, planning, and evaluation of care needs
- Delivering care, including individual and group sessions, to agreed quality standards as prescribed by internal procedures and health legislation
- Ensuring effective communication of any concerns relating to patient care
- Supporting and supervising new or junior staff
- Deputising in the absence of the Ward Manager and their Deputy to manage the staffing and clinical needs of the ward as required

- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act
- Patient-centric approach and commitment to delivering high-quality care
- Fine-tuned decision-making skills
- Excellent organisational capability
- Effective communication skills
- Flexibility and a strong 'can-do' attitude
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent annual salary of £36,176 - £38,596 per annum. We offer a range of benefits, including a £5,000 Welcome Bonus, many benefits in line with the NHS, and access to development opportunities.
