Job Title: Skilled Maintenance Technician

AWE Plc is seeking a highly skilled maintenance technician to join their team in the Reading area.

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of machine tool lifecycle activities, including installation, breakdown support, servicing and error mapping, to optimize plant and equipment availability.

This role offers a fully funded training package for successful candidates, providing opportunities to develop skills on challenging bespoke projects and contribute to the company's security.

In addition to this, AWE Plc offers a range of benefits, including 270 hours of annual leave, professional career development, employee assistance program, and occupational health services.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering apprenticeship with a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent working experience, as well as knowledge of maintenance practices, technologies and techniques in their current trade.

Candidates must also be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
