Maintenance Safety Expert
AWE Plc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Safety Engineer to ensure the safe operation of maintenance activities within our facilities. The role requires strong technical knowledge and experience in safety engineering, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The primary focus of this position is to identify and mitigate potential safety risks, conduct regular site inspections, and develop and implement safety procedures. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential safety hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address safety concerns.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on safety procedures and protocols.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance plans to ensure safe and efficient operations.
We offer a competitive salary range of £47,690 - £75,370, dependent on suitability, qualifications, and level of experience. A 9-day working fortnight and flexible working options are available.
