About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at The Focusrite Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in the Southern UK market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Growth: Lead and drive the delivery of revenue goals and targets for our Southern UK resellers.
  • Reseller Management: Secure contractual agreements with and manage resellers in accordance with our reseller reward matrix.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key reseller partners across purchasing, marketing, and sales functions.
  • Sales and Marketing Solutions: Provide creative sales and marketing solutions to resellers to enhance the presentation of our products in-store, online, and on social media channels.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the UK reseller network to drive customers and demand to our brands.
  • Training and Support: Work with product specialists to ensure that reseller partners and staff are trained on all of our MI brands.
  • Marketing Planning: Collaborate with the UK Channel Marketing Coordinator to ensure that reseller partners have executable marketing plans that can be measured and will deliver demand within the UK & Ireland reseller channel.
  • Non-Retail Resellers: Manage and develop relationships with our 'SI' and other non-retail resellers to ensure our brands are 'front and centre' of their sales activities to their customers.
  • Trade Shows and Events: Represent and evangelize the Focusrite Group MI and Pro brands at trade shows and events in the UK and occasionally overseas.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience of B2B sales within the MI industry.
  • Customer Development: Demonstrable track record of successful customer account development.
  • Business Relationship Building: Strong business relationship building skills.
  • Target Driven: Target driven and growth focused with a desire to succeed.
  • Proactive and Creative: Proactive, creative, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Positive Attitude: Positive, energetic, and a can-do attitude.
  • Autonomy and Teamwork: Equally comfortable working autonomously or as part of a high-achieving team.
  • Travel: Willing and able to travel across the Southern UK region.
