A&P Group, Falmouth - Assistant Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager Assistant to join our team at A&P Falmouth. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will assist the Department Manager in overseeing maintenance activities and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facility.

About the Role:

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of maintenance activities to ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance measures.
  • Work with stakeholders to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruption to business operations.
  • Deputize for the Department Manager in their absence.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in maintenance and project management, preferably in a marine or heavy industrial environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to maintenance issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Good numerical skills and demonstrable organizational and prioritization skills.
