Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Department Manager in overseeing maintenance activities and ensuring compliance with Company policies, procedures, and requirements.
  • Proactively respond to emergent maintenance issues and breakdowns, and identify potential risks on site.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance measures.
  • Work with stakeholders to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruption to business operations.
  • Deputize for the Department Manager in their absence.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in maintenance and project management, preferably in a marine or heavy industrial environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to maintenance issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Good numerical skills and demonstrable organizational and prioritization skills.
