About the Role

A&P Group Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team at our Falmouth facility. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to develop and implement maintenance strategies that align with company objectives.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance measures.
  • Proactively respond to emergent maintenance issues and breakdowns, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to schedule maintenance activities and optimize resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of maintenance services.
  • Deputize for the Maintenance Manager as required, ensuring seamless continuity of operations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a marine or heavy industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to maintenance issues.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
