About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Marketing Manager to join our team at Lockton Companies. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing strategic marketing plans to support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Marketing Leadership: Provide strategic marketing guidance and leadership to support the business plan or objectives set by each divisional head.
  • Marketing Strategy Development: Develop multi-channel strategic marketing plans to support business objectives, ensuring alignment with Lockton's overarching marketing strategy and unique brand identity.
  • Brand Alignment: Work closely with global brand and marketing teams to ensure consistent brand alignment across global divisions.
  • Marketing Execution: Collaborate with central marketing teams and channel specialists to support strategic marketing delivery and create compelling multi-channel campaign activity.
  • Business Case Development: Play a key role in building the business case for required investment to deliver a 5-year Marketing strategy.
  • Marketing Innovation: Seek opportunities to innovate strategic brand creative with each division by collaborating with in-house designers.
  • Marketing Performance Measurement: Consistently measure success of marketing activities undertaken and incorporate learnings to steer future activity.
  • PR and Communications: Identify and pursue PR opportunities for Lockton and work with central marketing team specialists to maximise publicity.
  • Team Leadership: Be a leading figure for your direct team, marketing team, and divisional stakeholders when driving best practice copywriting, content creation, brand awareness, brand engagement, lead-generation, digital marketing, social media marketing, PR, advertising, event marketing, and email marketing.
  • Website Management: Ensure the ongoing management and accuracy of Lockton's website content.
Candidate Requirements
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience and knowledge of the Specialty/wholesale sector.
  • Marketing Strategy Experience: Significant experience in B2B multi-channel marketing strategy.
  • Team Leadership Experience: Significant experience of leading strategic high performing marketing teams.
  • Leadership Skills: Effective manager, confident leader, and outstanding team player, able to work independently to drive results for business units under tight deadlines.
  • Marketing Planning: Ability to plan strategic marketing activity across multiple different products or business units, prioritising delivery in terms of strategic importance and available resources.
  • B2B Marketing Experience: Considerable experience across all B2B marketing and communication channels, with a proven-track record of improving brand equity and increasing lead-generation activity.
  • Senior Marketing Experience: Experience representing an organisation in a senior marketing role, meeting and liaising with high profile business leaders.
  • Regulated Environment Experience: Previous experience within a regulated environment (e.g., insurance or financial services).
  • Marketing Education: Prior experience studying or working in marketing, communications, or a related field.
