Technical Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Regional Technical Sales Engineer to work in their own region within the UK. As part of our ongoing growth plan, you will be responsible for selling our products and bringing in new, sustainable business by proactively identifying new opportunities through gathering market intelligence.
About the Role- You will develop long-term relationships with key business executives and stakeholders.
- You will strengthen relationships and reinvigorate cold accounts whilst onboarding new accounts and then convert them to a top-tier account through cross-selling / up-selling.
- Proven sales experience, particularly in the thermoforming and vac forming, foundry, composites, aerospace/defence, automotive and transport sectors.
- Exceptional relationship building capability and demonstrable track record (right contact, at the right level).
- Ability to negotiate deals that will accomplish budgeted margins and correspond to the company's sales strategies.
- Salary: £45k basic plus commission scheme (uncapped), car allowance, contributory pension, and other insurances/benefits package.
- Annual profit share bonus.
- Enhanced contributory pension scheme.
- 33 days annual leave.
- This role is field-based, therefore you must be prepared to travel extensively, with the possibility of some international travel in the future.
