They are seeking a motivated and skilled Technical Business Development Manager to join their growing team in the Northwest, focusing on driving new business across the UK, Europe, and USA.
Key responsibilities: Generate leads: Identify and qualify sales opportunities within target regions and industries.
Deliver impactful demonstrations: Showcase the unique value of the company's highly differentiated products through compelling presentations and technical demonstrations.
Strategic planning: Develop and execute a proactive territory management strategy to increase market share and achieve sales objectives.
Foster client relationships: Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers by offering exceptional support and promptly addressing inquiries.
Stay informed: Keep up to date with market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
Travel globally: Represent the company at client visits, trade shows, and industry events across the UK, Europe, and USA.
Qualifications and experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
3–4 years of business development experience, ideally in public sector or academia sales.
Knowledge of procurement processes, bidding, and responding to RFQs.
Proven success in executing effective sales strategies and achieving targets.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Technical expertise to confidently demonstrate equipment.
