Help Desk Manager

Our client, a dynamic and well-established retail maintenance organization, is seeking an experienced Help Desk Manager on a 12-month contract to cover a maternity leave. This is an excellent opportunity to bring your skills to an exciting and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with projects and initiatives to improve help desk operations
  • Answering and resolving customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Raising invoices and managing client-specific systems
  • Coordinating out-of-hours call-outs and ensuring prompt response to customer needs
  • Creating and sending invoicing spreadsheets and cross-checking in-house systems to client systems
  • Requesting order numbers and organizing jobs to ensure efficient workflow
  • Raising permits and assisting the help desk with technical issues
  • Attending client meetings and providing excellent customer service
  • Assisting with quotes and estimates, and conducting site visits as needed

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft packages, particularly Word and Excel
  • Experience within help desk management and the facilities maintenance industry is highly desirable
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well within a team
  • Confident and organized, with attention to detail
  • Good customer service skills and a presentable and communicative approach
  • Self-driven and motivated to succeed

About the Role:

As a Help Desk Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient operations and maintaining strong client relationships. Your enthusiasm and ability to work independently will contribute to the success of the team.
