About the Position

This Community Mental Health Support Worker role involves providing emotional support, advice, and guidance to clients in need of mental health care.

You will be responsible for assessing situations to determine risk and the needs of individuals accessing support, making informed decisions under pressure, and communicating effectively with clients.

Responsibilities:
  1. Support Delivery: Provide safe and effective management of our services, ensuring high-quality support delivery to clients.
  2. Data Collection: Accurately record new contacts and details of visits and calls using relevant electronic systems.
  3. Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive support for individuals.
  4. Training and Development: Engage in training and mentoring for new staff members, and identify personal training and development needs proactively.
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need relevant experience in mental health community support or crisis intervention, strong communication skills, and a compassionate approach with a commitment to client-centered care.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £30,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer opportunities for professional development and training, as well as a supportive team environment committed to mental health advocacy.
