About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Recovery Specialist to join our team in Sheffield. As a key member of our Core Team and Fast Track team, you will work with individuals who are struggling with substance misuse issues to devise, implement, and review ongoing recovery and treatment plans.

  • You will facilitate and promote individuals' progression from initial engagement, through structured treatment, to self-sustained recovery.
  • You will reduce substance-related harm to individuals and the wider community.
  • You will work collaboratively with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and well-being outcomes for individuals.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in the substance misuse sector, experience in mental health support, or a relevant academic background such as Criminology, Psychology, Law or Sociology. You should also possess a strong portfolio of volunteering in a similar role and case management experience. We offer a generous annual leave entitlement (27 days, plus bank holidays, increasing to 32 after 1 years' service) and a range of benefits including enhanced occupational sick pay and a workplace pension.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum dependent on experience.
