Clinical Expertise Required

To succeed as a Recovery-Focused Practitioner, you must have extensive experience in mental health in both inpatient and community settings. You should possess demonstrable risk assessment and risk management skills, as well as evidence of positive risk-taking.

A relevant Health or Social Care professional qualification - Nursing or Social Work - and current registration with NMC, HCPC are essential requirements. You should also demonstrate continued professional development and experience of managing/supervising others.

A strong understanding of Care Programme Approach & Care Management, appropriate therapeutic approaches, and engagement strategies is necessary. Experience of multi-disciplinary team working and working in a recovery-focused way is also desirable.
