Clinical Lead Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the efficient operation of the Community Equipment Service in Sheffield. As a Clinical Lead Practitioner, you will provide clinical expertise, manage complex cases, and drive service development.
The successful candidate will work closely with health and social care professionals, lead audits, and contribute to policy development to ensure best practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise and support prescribing clinicians on equipment usage, ensuring optimal outcomes.
- Authorise specialist equipment requests and monitor compliance, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Conduct thorough equipment reviews in homes and care settings, focusing on complex cases.
- Manage and support clinical support staff, supervising students to enhance their skills.
- Lead the Clinical Reference Group, shaping equipment policies and practices to drive excellence.
- Deliver training for clinicians and partner agencies, improving service outcomes through knowledge sharing.
- Develop and contribute to audits, research, and service evaluation to inform decision-making.
- Represent the service at regional and national events, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
