We are looking for a highly skilled Clinical Biochemistry Lead to join our team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Biochemist, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of both automated and specialist Clinical Biochemistry services across the South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Pathology Service (SYBP).

The ideal candidate will have a Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath) and completion of a three-year specialised training programme with Masters degree in Clinical Biochemistry or equivalent. They will also have Registration as a Clinical Scientist with the Health and Care Professions Council and demonstrate continued professional development.

Key responsibilities of this role include working alongside other Consultants in providing a comprehensive clinical service including provision of consultant level advice, service development, quality management, policy implementation and participation in the Duty Biochemist rota.

The salary for this position is approximately £90,000-£115,000 per annum, depending on experience.
