About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Lead Radiographer to join our team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced radiographer to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day provision of Angiography and Fluoroscopy services, working closely with the Interventional Radiology Service Manager.
  • Ensure the services are run in an efficient manner and maintain the services at the leading edge of Angiographic and Fluoroscopic Health.
  • Contribute to operational coordination in the Angiography/Fluoroscopy environment, managing both elective activity and acute admissions.
  • Provide high-profile clinical specialist support to both South Yorkshire Regional services Cardiology, Vascular and Cardiothoracic Directorate and Medical Imaging and Medical Physics (MIMP) Directorate.

Requirements

  • Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
  • HCPC State Registration DCR or BSc.
  • Post-registration qualification at MSc/PG diploma level or extensive equivalent knowledge and experience in Angiographic Imaging.
  • Leadership, supervisory, management qualification or equivalent.

Desirable

  • Evidence of project management.
  • PRINCE 2 (Projects in Controlled Environments).
  • Human Factors training.
