Job Overview

Aston Community Education Trust is a forward-thinking, ambitious multi-academy trust seeking to appoint a well-qualified and hard-working professional as a Lead Practitioner in Key Stage 1.

Salary Information

The successful candidate will receive an annual salary of £51,280.00 - £55,209.00 (Lead Practitioner L2 - L5 pay award pending).

Job Description

This role involves modeling high-quality teaching and leading the improvement of teaching skills in Key Stage 1. The ideal candidate will have in-depth subject and key stage knowledge, exhibit exemplary teaching skills, and have experience in leading the improvement of teaching skills.

  • Develop and implement policies and practices that promote excellent teaching and learning.
  • Coach and mentor teachers, including trainees and early career teachers.
  • Share knowledge from research about best practice in teaching and learning to support continuing professional development.
  • Assess and evaluate the impact of your work through demonstration lessons and classroom observation.

This role offers opportunities for growth and development within the trust. The successful candidate will be based at Lowedges Junior Academy but may also support other academies within the trust.
