Child Protection and Support Professional

Liverpool Early Help is seeking a dedicated social worker to provide support for Early Help interventions with children and families across the city. This role involves delivering targeted support to children who are at risk of family breakdown, struggling with emotional and behavioural difficulties, experiencing neglect, domestic abuse, parental mental health issues, and/or substance/alcohol misuse issues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with families to develop strategies for improvement and providing ongoing support as needed.
- Identifying and addressing the root causes of problems to deliver targeted support to children.
- Collaborating with other professionals, including teachers, healthcare providers, and local authority representatives, to ensure that the needs of children and families are met.
