We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our European proprietary trading business. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our trading operations, identifying new business opportunities, and building strategic partnerships. This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, excellent networking skills, and a proven track record in business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the growth of Jump's core EMEA trading business.
  • Research and present business opportunities to internal stakeholders.
  • Provide input into the design and implementation of multi-faceted business strategy.
  • Partner with Quantitative Research Teams to leverage Jump Trading's world-class strategy generation capabilities across multiple products and asset classes.
  • Establish relationships with research, business, operations, technology, and leadership teams.
  • Build and manage internal and external relationships to deliver complex projects and support revenue growth.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the trading sector.
  • Enhance relationships with exchanges, regulators, industry organizations, prime brokers, and infrastructure providers.
  • Represent Jump Trading at external events, conferences, and meetings to build business.
  • Explore and manage relevant ventures and strategic partnerships.
  • Analyse the competitive landscape and industry developments to inform business strategies.

Requirements:

  • Commercially minded, entrepreneurial, and proven business developer.
  • At least seven years of experience in Futures, Equities, Emerging Markets, or Commodities in sales, trading, operational, support, or another role.
  • Strong understanding of financial products/markets, trading strategies, and regulatory environment in EMEA.
  • Working knowledge of relevant exchanges, venues, and trading protocols.
  • Experience within a top-tier Investment bank, quantitative trading firm, broker, exchange, or vendor.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects in parallel through to successful completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A degree in a relevant subject with high academic achievements.
