We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Professional Trainer to join our team at Home Instead. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and mentoring to new employees, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional care to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and manage Home Instead's Initial Care Professional Training course, ensuring a high level of engagement and participation from trainees.
- Organize and deliver mentoring sessions, providing guidance and support to new employees as they complete their 12-week induction program.
- Manage the compliance and completion of care certificate eLearning standards, ensuring all trainees meet the required standards.
- Conduct competency assessments and provide feedback to trainees, ensuring they meet the necessary standards.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to new employees, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional care to our clients.
Requirements:
- Working towards Level 3 or 4 in NVQ in Health and Social Care (can be enrolled with Home Instead if needed).
- Experience in a health and social care setting, with a strong understanding of legislation and regulations.
- Training experience, with the ability to deliver high-quality training and mentoring to new employees.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and manage conflict as needed.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of care management technology, including the ability to provide support and training to Care Professionals.
