Barclay Meade is a global leading defence business seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Professional to join our team. As a Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in developing and executing business development strategies to drive growth and revenue.

Your primary responsibilities will include identifying new business opportunities, managing commercial risks, and advising senior management on contractual matters. You will also engage in business capture efforts, including proposal management and development, and review and submit commercial and contractual aspects of proposals accordingly.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective business development strategies, manage commercial risks, and drive business growth.

The estimated salary for this position is £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus bonus and benefits.

Key requirements include:

  • Strong experience in business development and commercial management, preferably in a high-tech industry.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should be eligible to live and work in the UK.
