About the Role

Care in Mind is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Waking Night Support Worker to join our team at Stubble Bank. As a key member of our residential service, you will play a vital role in supporting young people aged 16-30 with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide emotional support and guidance to young people, promoting their wellbeing and independence.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, food shopping, and medication administration.
  • Support young people with their daily routines, including prompting for self-care and attending medical appointments.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive living environment, ensuring the home is tidy and well-maintained.
  • Collaborate with the residential and clinical team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a care setting, preferably with young people with mental health needs.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Basic IT skills and ability to use Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK driving license (desirable).
