About the Role

Care in Mind is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Stubble Bank. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people aged 16-30 who are living with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support young people with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, food shopping, and medication administration.
  • Encourage and facilitate activities that promote socialization, education, and personal development.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive living environment, adhering to Care in Mind's policies and procedures.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable, but not essential.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with young people and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Basic IT skills and ability to use Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to undergo training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
