Job Title: Head of Quantum Applications

About the Role:

Oxford Quantum Circuits (OQC) is a pioneering company that aims to put quantum computing into the hands of humanity. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Quantum Applications team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement technical strategies for Quantum Applications
  • Build and manage a high-performing team of quantum computing experts
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partners to deliver innovative solutions
  • Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences

Requirements:

  • Background in a quantum-related subject
  • Demonstrable experience in translating complex technical concepts
  • Experience working in scientific computing settings
  • Development of machine learning algorithms
  • Building and leading teams
  • Project management using agile methodology

Desirable Experience:

  • Quantum machine learning experience
  • Commercial experience
