Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team at Churchill. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean interior surfaces, furnishings, fixtures, and fittings to the prescribed standards.
- Clean floors and floor coverings, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing.
- Maintain the internal environment, including dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning of windows.
- Service toilet areas, including cleaning of toilets, sinks, and replenishing customer supplies.
- Clear and remove rubbish and other items from areas as detailed by the site specification.
- Maintain stocks of cleaning materials, order from suppliers as required, and control the usage of materials.
- Report any problems on site to the supervisor/account manager for immediate rectification.
- Perform any other reasonable duties/request commensurate with this position as designated by the account manager/supervisor/client/company.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy cleaning equipment and supplies.
- DBS clearance required.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 2:50pm-5:50pm, 15 hours per week.
Salary:
£10.42 per hour.
