Cleaning Operations Manager

About the Role:
As a Cleaning Supervisor at Tenon FM, you will be responsible for overseeing cleaning duties across various sites, ensuring a comprehensive cleaning service is provided in compliance with CQC and Health & Safety Regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of cleaning staff and interact with the Account Management team to ensure effective service delivery.
- Build strong relationships with employees and ensure they work productively and safely.
- Present yourself in a professional, courteous, and appropriate manner in accordance with Company policies and values.
- Work closely with site teams to deliver excellent service and meet client expectations.
- Support and guide cleaning teams to achieve high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Report maintenance issues and work with customers to address specific requirements or concerns.
- Conduct regular site cleaning audits and ensure any failures are addressed within 48 hours.
- Support in recruitment and training of new employees, including site familiarisation and cleaning procedures.
- Provide hands-on cleaning support and respond to cleaning requests as needed.
- Deliver safety and toolbox talks and maintain accurate records.
- Schedule and assign duties to cleaners and ensure they are carried out to the correct standards.
- Support in rota organisation and provide accurate timesheets to the accounts management team.
- Manage equipment, materials, and stock levels and place orders as required.
- Maintain good relationships with customer representatives on site.
- Complete regular audits to measure cleaning performance and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet our core values.
About You:
- Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor.
- Hands-on and able to build credible relationships.
- Reasonable IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience of audits and working with high standards.
- Ability to listen to and motivate employees.
- Proven record of being responsive and innovative.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills.
