Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Behavioural Support Worker to join our Positive Behavioural Support Team in County Durham. As a Behavioural Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities and making a positive impact on their lives.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Behavioural Support Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Implementing positive behaviour support plans and interventions
- Providing support to individuals with complex needs
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver person-centred support
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with service users, families, and other stakeholders
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- GCSEs (A-C grades) or equivalent qualifications
- Proven experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
