The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Sales Assistant to join our team in Bath. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the store team in driving sales performance and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Store Performance: Maximize sales opportunities and support the team in meeting and exceeding targets through focusing on KPI delivery.
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Provide market-leading customer service to drive business growth through customer loyalty and repeat purchases.
  • Develop Wine Knowledge: Take ownership of your wine knowledge and constantly learn about our products to support your WSET qualification and confidence in selling.
  • Take Ownership of Store Appearance: Take accountability and pride in the physical appearance and maintenance of your store, both internally and externally.
  • Operational Tasks: Involvement in all operational tasks required for the day-to-day running of the store, including delivering wine to customers, merchandising stock deliveries, and calling valued customers to drive sales opportunities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to make improvements that will optimize the operational running of the store and feed ideas back to your wider team.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure you remain fully compliant, safe, and legal by following internal policies, processes, and completing mandatory training.
  • Leadership and Support: Be an example of Majestic's Ways of Working and a source of support for more junior team members, feeding back to your Store Manager as appropriate.
