Position: Operations Coordinator – Defence Division

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Office based in Milton Keynes

Salary: Range between £24,000 to £26,000 depending on experience

Reporting to: Operations Manager – Defence Division

Overview

Pertemps Medical Professionals is undergoing an exciting period of growth and change. We are seeking to add to our team to support our significant multi-year investment and expansion plans – building upon our strong ethos of patient safety, high clinical standards, robust team support, and sector-leading dynamism.

The Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in undertaking clerical and administrative support duties relating to the medical screening of Royal Navy and Royal Marines applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing candidate records using Microsoft Office Suite and the Pertemps Internal Candidate Management system.
  • Liaising with applicants, Armed Forces Careers Officers and Medical Experts - answering queries and assisting candidates throughout the application process.
  • Discussing medical aspects of candidate's application forms.
  • Seeking guidance on specific cases from management team or medical contacts when directed.
  • Postal management and scanning of medical records.
  • Co-ordination of medical assessments.
  • Answering the phone and responding to candidate queries.
  • Provision of reporting data from internal candidate management system.
  • Ensuring accurate records are kept and correct processes and policies are followed at all times.
  • Aware of how your own performance impacts the overall team performance.
  • Follows all business processes, policies and systems to deliver agreed customer service levels.
