Autism Education Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at a mainstream primary school in Handsworth. This role requires experience in supporting students with complex needs, including autism. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and behavioural management skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 1:1 support to students with complex needs
- Assist in managing behaviour and supporting academic progress
- Work alongside teachers to deliver tailored learning plans
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning atmosphere
- Experience in a 1:1 or similar support role
- Passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Strong communication and behavioural management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
The daily rate of pay is £86.60 PAYE.
This is a temporary position.
