About the Opportunity:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team at Optical Express Group. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for administering payroll from start to finish, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Managing the entire payroll process, including processing pay runs, managing employee records, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  2. Working closely with HR and management teams to resolve any payroll-related issues or discrepancies.
  3. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including attendance, leave, and benefits information.
  4. Providing exceptional customer service to employees, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience in payroll administration, preferably in a similar role within the optical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll laws and regulations, including PAYE, NICs, and pensions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and employees.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

What We Offer:
