Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management:
Manage a team of employees, including performance reviews, training, and addressing personnel matters such as scheduling, annual leave, and resolving issues. - Production Oversight:
Ensure the efficient use of materials, labor, and equipment to meet production targets. Communicate production priorities and schedules clearly to the team. - Quality & Safety:
Maintain and enforce quality standards. Ensure health & safety protocols are followed. Promote a clean and safe workspace using 7S principles. - Continuous Improvement:
Implement lean principles and drive process improvements. Identify opportunities for enhancing painting processes and equipment. - Inventory & Budget:
Track paint shelf life and maintain raw material and product inventories. Manage department budgets and purchasing needs. - Administrative Duties:
Handle departmental paperwork and maintain the Bill of Materials (BOM).
