We are looking for an exceptional Vehicle Electrical Technician to join our team in Farnborough. As an Electrical Technician, you will work on building and modifying electrical systems and CAN network harnesses for EV and hybrid vehicles. If you have a solid understanding of automotive electrical systems, experience with instrumentation and data logging equipment, and excellent communication skills, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

About the Role:

  • Build and modify electrical systems and CAN network harnesses for EV and hybrid vehicles.
  • Collaborate with T&D Engineers to develop test plans and procedures for new vehicle models.
  • Utilize laptop-based diagnostic software to troubleshoot electrical systems and CAN network harnesses.

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge and experience of automotive electrical systems, ideally commercial vehicle experience.
  • Able to read and understand electrical drawings and circuit diagrams.
  • Experience with instrumentation and data logging equipment.
  • Knowledge and ability to carry out mechanical tests.
  • Fluent in MS Office (Outlook, Word & Excel).
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • PSV or HGV license is desirable.
  • Aware basic workshop machine tool operation.
  • Able to demonstrate instrumentation & data logging equipment experience (Analogue and CAN systems).
