**Job Title:** Supporting Students with SEMH Needs

At Tradewind Recruitment, we are seeking an experienced teaching assistant to support students with social, emotional, or mental health needs.

The Role
  • Assist class teachers in maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment for students aged 11-16.
  • Support the prevention or de-escalation of challenging behaviors, engage pupils, and maintain focus.
  • Promote pupil progress through input to learning.
Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to apply for a new one.
  • Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Experience supporting children with challenging behaviors.

Estimated salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum based on a 37-hour week and 52 weeks per year.
