Job Title: Clinical Lead for Substance Abuse Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Lead for Substance Abuse Services to join our Transformation Unit. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance and support to individuals struggling with alcohol misuse, as well as their families and friends.

This is a full-time, permanent role that operates within the framework of our Inclusion Services department. You will lead clinical teams in delivering evidence-based treatment services to improve the quality of life and foster positive change in individuals affected by addiction.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in substance abuse treatment services.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Evaluate evidence-based practice and ensure that clinical work is up-to-date and in accordance with current policy and legislation.
  • Deliver training and education to healthcare professionals on best practices in addiction treatment.

Requirements:
  • Adhere to professional codes of conduct, including accountability, confidentiality, and commitment to high-quality service.
  • Maintain the security of all records and information while adhering to Trust and Partner agencies' confidentiality policy.
  • Lead clinical teams in managing complex caseloads of individuals with substance abuse issues.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for healthcare professionals on evidence-based practices in addiction treatment.
Experience:
  • Proven experience in clinical leadership roles within substance abuse services.
  • Developing and maintaining successful partnerships with GPs, treatment agencies, and colleagues within the community.
  • Clinical risk assessment and management of vulnerable service user groups.
Salary:

The salary for this position ranges from £37,338 to £44,962 per annum.
