About the Role
We are seeking an experienced area sales professional to join our team at Cavendish Maine. As a leading importer and distributor of premium pet products to the independent and specialist pet trade, we are looking for someone with a strong background in account management and sales to manage an established customer base of high-quality customers across the South East region.

The successful candidate will have a wealth of experience in managing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth. Key responsibilities will include building trusting relationships with pet shop owners, actively prospecting for new stocklists, providing training and education to retailers, and reporting against sales plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an established customer base of high-quality customers across the South East region
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth
  • Provide training and education to retailers, owners and sales assistants

Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in account management and sales
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and identifying new business opportunities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary and Benefits
A competitive basic salary of up to £45,000 p.a + bonus + hybrid company car.
