Regional Account Manager

**Job Summary**
Cavendish Maine is seeking a highly motivated Regional Account Manager - Pet Industry to join our dynamic team. As an experienced account manager and business development professional, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within our established customer base in the South East of the UK.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in sales and account management, with a proven ability to build trusting relationships with pet shop owners and increase sales revenue. They will possess excellent negotiation and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
In this role, you will inherit an established business base and be targeted to achieve sales growth within these accounts while also prospecting for new, suitable retail customers. Your duties will include actively prospecting for new stocklists, providing training and education to retailers, owners, and sales assistants, creating eye-catching product displays, and reporting against your sales plan on a weekly basis.
**Responsibilities:**
- Drive sales growth within our established customer base in the South East of the UK
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and pursue them through effective prospecting and sales techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure long-term relationships with key clients
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve targets and meet business objectives
