Health and Safety Advisor

**About the Role**

Ambitek Limited is seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Advisor to join their HSEQ department. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and innovative shipyard environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Oversee and manage permit to work systems to ensure a safe working environment.
* Conduct regular health and safety inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
* Implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
* Provide guidance and support on all health and safety matters to employees and contractors.

**Qualifications and Experience:**

* NEBOSH National General Certificate is a must-have for this role.
* Full UK driving licence is required for travel to shipyard sites.
* Previous experience in a shipyard or similar industrial environment is highly advantageous.

**Desired Skills:**

* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and legislation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and contractors.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals.
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
