Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Anderselite. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current legislation and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide health and safety training to staff at all levels to promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
  • Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and maintain required documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization by influencing and engaging staff at all levels.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of UK health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and engage staff at all levels.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Valid UK driving license.
