About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Anderselite LTD. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping our safety practices and ensuring a safe working environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Safety Policies: Create and maintain comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct Site Inspections and Risk Assessments: Regularly inspect sites and conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide Health and Safety Training: Deliver training to staff at all levels to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Ensure Compliance: Verify that our organization is in compliance with current health and safety legislation and industry best practices.
  • Investigate Incidents: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents, near-misses, and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Liaise with Regulatory Bodies: Communicate with regulatory bodies and maintain required documentation to ensure our organization's compliance.
  • Promote a Safety Culture: Foster a strong safety culture throughout the organization by promoting a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Possess proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Qualifications: Hold a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrate strong knowledge of UK health and safety regulations and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to Influence: Possess the ability to influence and engage staff at all levels.
  • Proactive Approach: Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Valid Driving License: Possess a valid UK driving license.
