Sanctuary Group is recruiting for a Deputy Retirement Communities Manager to join our team in London.


We specialise in delivering personalised housing, care, and support services across England, helping people live independently. As part of our commitment to excellence, we're seeking a motivated individual to lead our retirement communities service at Coopers Court.



About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of an effective housing management service, ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements. Key duties include:



  • Supporting Housing Management Service Delivery: Manage buildings, grounds, amenities, contracts, and void processes to maintain high standards.
  • Relationship Management: Foster positive relationships with residents, staff, volunteers, and the local community, promoting better outcomes.
  • Safeguarding Compliance: Ensure adherence to safeguarding policies, procedures, and legislation, liaising with external agencies as necessary.
  • Tenancy Management: Assist with tenancy agreements, rent payments, and debt repayment processes.
  • Antisocial Behaviour Coordination: Support low-level ASB cases, taking remedial action to build community cohesion.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with customers, internal, and external stakeholders, identifying shortfalls in service delivery and managing complaints effectively.
  • Social Activities Coordination: Deliver social activities, promote communal facilities use, and encourage participation.
  • Data Recording: Maintain accurate records, update database entries, and ensure user-friendly filing systems.
