Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our team at Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Finance Department, you will provide strategic leadership and direction to our financial management function.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality financial management services, with a strong focus on budget monitoring, reporting, and forecasting. You will be responsible for leading a team of finance professionals and working closely with our Associate Director of Finance to achieve our financial objectives.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent leadership and communication skills, who is able to build strong relationships with our operational managers and stakeholders. If you have a passion for finance and a desire to make a real difference in the NHS, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role

The Head of Financial Services will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our financial management function. This will include:

  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to achieve our business objectives
  • Leading a team of finance professionals to deliver high-quality financial management services
  • Working closely with our Associate Director of Finance to achieve our financial objectives
  • Building strong relationships with our operational managers and stakeholders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in financial management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Experience of working in a large organization, with a strong understanding of financial management principles
  • Able to manipulate large quantities of data with specialist software and develop ways of distilling that information efficiently and on a systematic basis
