We are seeking a highly organised and administrative-skilled individual to undertake the role of Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer at Holcombe Parish Council. This position is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Council's services and finances.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, flexible, and community-focussed person with excellent administrative, interpersonal, accounting, and IT skills. A strong understanding of local authority organisation and management would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will be expected to have or obtain within 18 months of taking the post, the CiLCA qualification offered by SALC and the Society of Local Council Clerks. Further training and development opportunities are encouraged and supported by the Council.

About the Role:
This is a full-time position that requires a high level of organisational skill and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Council's finances, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative support as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective systems and processes to improve efficiency and productivity
- Manage the Council's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Provide administrative support to Councillors and other staff members as required
