About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our team at Arla Foods, Taw Valley. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving technical standards, reducing unplanned downtime, and enabling operators and technical operators to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement technical standards, including Operator Asset Care, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Lead the reduction of unplanned downtime through systematic Continuous Improvement work, applying structured problem-solving and improvement tools.
  • Coach and enable operators and technical operators to meet technical standards and Operator Asset Care requirements.
  • Contribute to a healthy, inclusive, and safe work environment, modeling our character mindset.
  • Ensure awareness and compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Own and lead weekly Continuous Improvement meetings, applying structured problem-solving and improvement tools.
  • Analyze and track asset maintenance data, ensuring data quality and completeness.
  • Ensure that Line Team improvement activities are quantified and reflected in the global Continuous Improvement database.
  • Develop and implement plans for improvement of technical reliability for lines.
  • Own Operator Asset Care standards and competence development in the Line Team.
  • Define, process confirm, and improve technical standards, including Operator Asset Care.
  • Train and coach Line Team members to ensure performance according to technical standards.
  • Initiate and drive the correction of complex faults, ensuring sustainable improvements.
  • Provide input to content and frequency of preventive maintenance.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need a skilled technical education and/or equivalent experience, as well as knowledge of LEAN principles and data management. You must be a role model for using data and applying lean and APS tools in a structured way, and provide input to the content and frequency of preventive maintenance.
