About the Role

Arla Foods is seeking a skilled Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our team at our Taw Valley site in North Devon. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving technical improvements and ensuring the reliability of our production lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement technical standards and operator asset care procedures to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Lead the analysis and resolution of complex technical issues to ensure sustainable improvements
  • Collaborate with operators and technical teams to ensure compliance with technical standards and operator asset care
  • Contribute to a healthy, inclusive, and safe work environment and promote our company values
  • Ensure awareness and compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Own and lead weekly continuous improvement meetings to discuss and implement improvements
  • Own and analyze asset maintenance data to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement plans to improve technical reliability and operator asset care
  • Train and coach operators to ensure performance according to technical standards
  • Initiate and drive the correction of complex faults to ensure sustainable improvements
  • Provide input to the content and frequency of preventive maintenance

Requirements

  • Skilled technical education and/or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of LEAN principles and data management
  • Ability to use data and apply lean and APS tools in a structured way
  • Ability to give input to the content and frequency of preventive maintenance
