Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Continuous Improvement team, setting day-to-day objectives and delivering operational plans.
- Work cross-functionally with teams on site and globally to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure accurate management, maintenance, and development of operating systems to enable responsive, data-driven management of the operation.
- Resource and roster all aspects of the operation to deliver output and quality objectives and provide legal compliance.
- Contribute to an effective LCO way of working and maintain a highly motivated team with a developing skillset for continuous improvement.
- Manage own time and prioritize activities in conjunction with business plans, setting standards personally and monitoring team performance.
- Communicate with global specialist networks to seek best practice and communicate with relevant third parties and suppliers to ensure awareness of latest technologies and best practice.
We are looking for a strategic and strong leader with people management experience within a fast-paced manufacturing company. You will have a wealth of experience in operational and strategic leadership, with a strong understanding of continuous improvement, lean manufacturing principles, culture change, and stakeholder engagement.
You will be degree-qualified or equivalent in a relevant discipline and have experience of leading either Total Performance Management, IL6S, IWS, or similar. You will also have effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work under your own initiative in a high-speed environment.
